POSITION INTRODUCTION

Our client, one of UAE’s major District Cooling Companies, seeks to hire the services of a Legal Counsel (preferably with a European background) at their corporate office in Abu Dhabi.

The legal counsel will primarily advise top management on matters relating to Energy, Power, Mergers, Cross-Border Negotiations, etc., apart from overseeing the legal department for routine corporate matters. It is pertinent for the applicants to possess prior similar experience and expertise.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • A professional degree in law from a leading institution – preferably a Western background.
  • Substantial Corporate Legal working experience
  • An expert in legal matters relating to Energy, Power, Mergers, Cross-Border Negotiations etc.
  • A deep and working knowledge and expertise in corporate laws and procedures of the land.
  • Maintain and display a high degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • Analytical mind and sound judgment capabilities regarding situations and information
  • 5-7 years of proven experience in a similar position.
  • Preferably with an Energy Sector – Corporate Legal Background
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Articulate the ability to prioritise work schedules/deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Solutions oriented
